More than 440b dong to build 2 resettlement areas in Hoang Mai

The People’s Committee of Hoang Mai District, Hanoi on August 6 organised a ground breaking ceremony for the high-rise resettlement building in the Tran Phu ward, and another high-rise resettlement building in combination with low-rise resettlement houses in Yen So ward, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi.

Project to build high-rise resettlement area in Tran Phu ward covering an area of 3,434 square metres includes a 15-storey block with floor area of 21,347 sqm. On the first floor, the project will build kindergartens, public services and community activities and from the second floor to the 15th floor, the project will provide about total 196 resettlement apartments.

The total approved investment is more than 222 billion dong. Urban Infrastructure Development and Investment Corp (Udic) will construct the project within 18 months.

High-rise resettlement building in combination with low-rise resettlement houses in Yen So ward has total area of 7,347 sqm, including 1,612 smq for resettlement houses with 15-floors and 224 apartments. On the first floor, there will be kindergarten, operating room and community activities and from the second floor to the 15th floor, there will be resettlement apartments.

The remaining area of 1,661 sqm will be used to build low-rise resettlement houses to serve land use right auction and a 1,829 sqm area is for roads.

The project has a total investment of 220 billion dong and will be constructed by Hanoi Construction Corp within 18 months.
