Nam A Bank to increase chartered capital to 150b dong

Hoan Van Toan, general director of Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank said that to further expand the network as well as meet the credit demand of borrowers, Nam A Bank is completing the final procedures to increase the chartered capital to 100 billion dong from 70 billion dong in October.
He also disclosed that by the end of 2004, Nam A Bank will likely increase its chartered capital to 150 billion dong. At present, Nam A Bank has 10 branches and the 2003 dividend was 12% and the anticipated dividend in 2004 is expected to increase 13.5%.
