Nearly 57,000 foreign labourers working in Vietnam

Till the end of September, there were about 56,929 foreign labourers working in Vietnam, according to the Ministry of Labour, Invalid and Social Affairs (Molisa).

In details, graduated and postgraduate labourers accounted for 48.3% while workers with professional certificates accounted for 34.6% and workers as artisans in traditional industries accounted for 17.1%.

According to Nguyen Thi Hai Van, vice head of Employment Department under Molisa, high qualified labourers working in Vietnam have contributed to meet the manpower needs of companies. Additionally, through using foreign labourers, Vietnamese workers have also been improved on qualification, especially on professional behaviours and attitude.
