New Guinea leader Somare warns of fear tactics

Papua New Guinea leader Michael Somare yesterday warned of “a new political agenda of fear and intimidation” by the government of Peter O’Neill that is now effectively ruling the country.

He also confirmed that he would not stand at the election in mid-year for the East Sepik constituency that he has held for 43 years.
