Seafood export turnover up 8.4% in April

Apr 30, 2008 - 7:00:00 AM The country's seafood export kept growing with a turnover of US$300 million in April, bringing the total figure during the first four months of the year to US$1.098 billion, equalling to 25.8% of the year's plan and up 8.4% in comparison with the same period of last year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development reported.

Up to the end of April, total seafood output reached nearly 1.2 million tonnes, up 7.4% against the same period of last year.
