Sugar maker sees US$14m in revenue

The Bien Hoa Sugar Co (BHS) earned a total revenue of 229.3 billion dong (US$14.3 million), with the after-tax profit of 10.5 billion dong, during the first quarter of this year, an increase of 49.4% against the previous quarter.
The company announced its second dividend payment, of 10% of its after-tax profits, in the form of stocks.
Bien Hoa plans to earn a net revenue of 766.2 billion dong with the profits of 54.5 billion dong and a dividend of 15% in 2008.
