Agricultural product exports surpass US$11.2b

In August alone, total agricultural forestry product exports will bring in over US$1.7 billion, jumping 49.7% yoy, estimated Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

In which, the export of agricultural product has earned US$970 million, a surge of 75.2%, seafood export making US$500 million, up 34.7% and forestry export bringing in US$245 million, rising 11.2% as compared with last August.

Thus, total agriculture forestry and seafood export has earned US$11.2 billion dong during the first eight months of this year, a yoy growth of 33.3%.

Additionally, the Domestic Market Monitoring Group yesterday reported that total social service and retail turnover this month gained 81.730 trillion dong, bringing the figure of Jan-August to 609.210 trillion dong, increasing by 30% yoy.

September CPI is forecasted to soar by 1-1.2% month on month, according to the group.
