Greenyield Bhd subsidiary RCP Technologies Sdn Bhd has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Rubber Research Institute of Vietnam (RRIV) for further collaboration in R&D in the development of systems, products and services based on agro-technology for rubber trees and rubber plantations.

In a statement yesterday, Greenyield group managing director Tham Foo Keong said their mutual goal was to conduct R&D that would result in affordable high quality systems, products and services based on agro-technology that would increase the yield of rubber trees without long-term adverse effects and are environmental friendly.

He said RCP and RRIV were currently discussing the R&D projects to be undertaken. Tham said the MoU, which was inked in HCM City, would be effective for three-years. Greenyield focuses on the development, manufacture and marketing of agricultural systems, products and services based on agro-technology.
