AGF estimates to gain 2009 pre-tax profit of 18b dong

An Giang Fisheries Import Export Joint Stock Co (coded AGF) announced gaining accumulative revenue of 1.4 trillion dong and pre-tax profit of 18 billion dong.

In 2009, the company estimated to reach total production output of 24,174 tonnes of seafood in 2009, gaining export revenue of $57.5 million, fulfilling 73.25 percent and 71.86 percent of the targeted year plan.

Previously, the company had set targets of gaining 1.5 trillion dong of revenue and 52 billion dong of pre-tax profit in its business plan in 2009. After 12 months, the company has fulfilled 93.33 percent of the revenue plan and 34.62 percent of the profit plan.

AGF planned to close the list of shareholders for 2009 dividend payment of 10 percent on January 29, 2010.

After January 4 trading session, AGF coded shares saw a ceiling rise by 1,600 dong to 34,800 dong per share.
