Gras Savoye Willis Vietnam became the first foreign insurance consultant for Vietnamese State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) after receiving the approval from the Ministry of Finance.

Entering to Vietnam since 1993, France-based Gras Savoye and the UK-based Willis Group succeeded in providing insurance consultancy services in HCM City and Hanoi. Two groups cooperated and set up 100% foreign-invested Gras Savoye Willis Vietnam insurance consultancy firm.

In 2005, Gras Savoye Willis was approved to expand services to individuals and from February 2008, it was allowed to supply services to all customers including SOEs.

Philippe Robineau, Gras Savoye Willis Vietnam's managing director stated that this is considered as a big success of his firm and a big chance for SOEs and Vietnam's economy. He also committed that his firm will provide the best insurance consultancy services to Vietnamese government's projects.
