Shipbuilder Vinashin sets up third subsidiary

Pha Rung Shipbuilding Corp recently held its inception ceremony, marking the third corporation of the Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry group (Vinashin) operating under the parent company model.
After the debut ceremony, the corporation successfully launched the 34,000 dwt shares No 1 named San Felice. This is part in series of 34,000 dwt ships built under the agreement between Vinashin and the UK-based Graig. Right after launching the San Felice ship, Pha Rung Corp started building another 34,000 dwt ship No 2 -HR34-PR02.
The San Felice ship with the length of 180 metres was designed on technique by Denmark-based Carl Bro a/s and designed on technology by Shanghai Hengar Ship Design Co, Ltd
