Holcim Vietnam cement maker yesterday was licensed to invest total US$656 million in the second clinker production line for Kien Giang province's Hon Chong Cement Plant.
The production line has capacity of 10,000 tonnes of clinker a day, bringing the total capacity of the plant to 14,500 tonnes of clinker a day equalling to seven million tonnes per annum.
The project will be started by next January.
