Vietnam-Laos salt-mine and chemical Ltd Co to debut in Laos

Sep 5, 2008 - 7:00:00 AM Vietnam Chemical Corp (Vinachem) recently announced that Vietnam-Laos Salt-Mine and Chemical Ltd Co would officially make its debut on September 5 in Laos.

The Vinachem 100%-invested company with an authorised capital of US$30 million aims to carry out kali salt-mine exploratory projects according to agreements signed between Vinachem and Laos government.

Once finished, the project will develop two salt exploitation regions namely Khammouane and Savanakhet to be a chemical industrial complex with many kinds of fertiliser to not only provide to Laos and Vietnamese markets but also export to the international market.
