PECC3 achieves 22.78b dong of revenue

Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Co No 3 (PECC3) has announced that its revenue reached 22.78 billion dong in Q1 of 2009, an increase of 58.19 percent year-on-year; and it earned 922.12 million dong of profit after tax, up 56.22 percent against the same period last year.

The company, formerly known as Power Engineering Consulting Co under Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) has been capitalised since 2007. The company's current chartered capital is 28 billion dong. Its main scopes of business include consulting services for power engineering projects, conducting land surveys, geologic examinations, meteorological and hydrologic surveys for projects of power grid sources, planning and upgrading local electricity grid in cities and provinces.

PEEC3 plans to issue additional 140,000 shares for the company's staff in 2009 with par value of 10,500 dong per share with the purpose of increasing its chartered capital to 29.4 billion dong.
