DRC selects bidders for radial tyre plant

Nguyen Quoc Tuan, chair of management board in Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Co (coded DRC) affirmed that the company was selecting qualified contractors for carrying out construction works of the over 2.992 trillion-dong radial tyre plant project.

The plant will be built on a site of 106,632 square metres in Lien Chieu Industrial Zone, Da Nang City with designed capacity of 600,000 tyres per year. The new project will be conducted in two phases: from 2010-2011 and 2012-2013. After finishing the first phase of the project, the company will begin production process, bringing in profit for DRC.

The company planned to hold its annual shareholders meeting on April 5, in which it will report about the detailed implementation speed for the project and distribution methods for 2009 profits and seek approval for 2010 business plan.
