Hanoi Garment and Textile Joint Stock Corp (Hanosimex) held a ceremony to introduce Ha Nam – Hanosimex one-member Co Ltd and officially kicked off construction project of Hanosimex textile plants on March 6 in Ha Nam province-based Dong Van 2 Industrial Zone.

The corporation's investment project of constructing Hanosimex's textile and garment plants in Dong Van 2 Industrial Zone was built on an area of 150,000 square metres, with total investment capital of 758 billion dong from state budget's supporting fund for re-settlement purposes and loans offered by banks.

This large project was included in Hanoi's general plant of moving industrial facilities out of the centre of the city. In order to stabilise the company's production process, Hanosimex plans to divide the project into various parts, to be conducted under successive construction method. Hanosimex will carry out movement work right after finishing the construction.

After the ground breaking ceremony, Hanosimex started construction work on the new knitting plant and it was expected to be finished and put into operation in late February 2012.
