LGC targets profit after tax of over 39.72b dong in 2010

Lu Gia Mechanical Electric Joint Stock Co (STC-coded LGC) announced its 2010 business plan with targeted revenue and profit after tax of 215 billion dong and over 39.72 billion dong respectively, increasing by 42 percent and 32.5 percent against the previous year.

In addition, the company's management board planned to reach total pre-tax profit of 45.4 billion dong, earnings per share of 4,796 dong and dividend rate of 15 percent.

LGC will hold its annual shareholders meeting on April 29, 2010. The company planned to close the list of shareholders for participating in the meeting on March 24 and for 2009 dividend payment – the last phase with applied ratio of 8 percent in cash. The payment date will be on April 28 onwards.

In relating news, the HCM City Technical Infrastructure Joint Stock Co (coded CII) announced to register for purchasing 400,000 LGC-coded shares.

CII has currently held 1,669,403 shares, equal to 20.15 percent. If the transaction ends successfully, the total LGC-coded share volume owned by CII will be increased to 2,069,403 units or 24.98 percent.

The transaction is expected to last from March 17 to May 17.
At the end of March 12 trading session, LCG-coded share price jumped by 900 dong to 30,300 dong per share.
