VinaCapital bags Best Fund House award

VinaCapital Group has recently received the 2009 Best Fund House Award to be granted by Asia Asset Management Magazine in Hong Kong on March 11, 2010. This is the annual, prestigious award to be selected for the best firms in finance and investment sectors in the Asian region.

Together with other outstanding enterprises in other countries such as J.P. Morgan, Franklin Templeton (Hong Kong), UOB (Singapore), Mirae (South Korea), China Asset Management Ltd (China) and UTI (India), VinaCapital is the ultimate fund management firm in Vietnam to be selected for this award. In addition, Don Lam, VinaCapital's executive manager was awarded the best executive manager.

At present, VinaCapital has managed four investment funds with total capital of over $1.6 billion. Last year, the company has reported to conduct successfully large business affairs such as offloading its holdings in Masan Group, transferring the capital contribution in five-start hotel of Hilton Hanoi Opera and A&B Tower project, and carrying out large-scale real estate projects of Golden West Lake (Hanoi), the Garland, Dai Phuoc Lotus (HCM City) and The Ocean Villas (Da Nang City).
