June car import reaches 6,000 units

In June, 6,000 complete cars (or CBUs) worth over $90 million were imported into Vietnam, up 1,200 and $10 million in import value compared with 4,800 units worth $80 million in the previous month, reported general Statistic Office (GSO).

During the first half, Vietnam spent $392.2 million importing 23,100 cars, equalling to 53 percent of the imported car volume year-on-year.

Also, over 7,500 complete motorbikes worth $6.8 million were imported to the country this month.
