Export turnover in first seven months reaches $38.27b

The country's export turnover in Jan-July was estimated at $38.27 billion, an increase of 17.5 percent against the same period of last year, in which the July export turnover only reached $5.8 billion dong, up 20.7 percent year-on-year.

There was a sharp increase in export value in the group of industrial products such as chemicals of $147 million, steel products of $573 million, means of transport and spare parts of $923 million, rubber products of $147 million, electrical and cable wires of $708 millions, machines, equipment, tools and spare parts of $1.6 billion.

The export turnover of group of agricultural and seafood increased by 10.4 percent, in which rubber products rose by 85 percent, pepper up 41 percent, cashew up 25 percent, seafood up 11 percent and tea up 10.3 percent.
