Australian Admerex Pty Ltd and Vietnamese Banking Skills Training & Consultancy Company (BTC) today sign a sponsorship agreement, whereby the latter is authorized to use Admerex's banking solutions, Credit Value Maximizer (CVX) and CollectionWorks (CWX) as simulation training program to help Vietnamese bankers improve their professional and technology skills.
"Risk Management in Vietnam is certainly developing fast, with most if not all banks recognising a need to upgrade their systems and processes" said Nic Davies–Senior Vice President of Admerex

Factors driving this are the growing demand for credit in Vietnam as result of economic development, and the equitisation process for the largest banks that is bringing a more focused shareholder value discipline. Challenge will be to ensure that a bank's current risk framework is scalable to support both the growth and the growing need to support analysis and information.

The core business of any bank is managing Risk and Return. In a fast growing economy like Vietnam's, risk management is critical. Admerex solutions aim to particularly support banks' ability not only to identify and manage risk at the point of origination, but also at a portfolio level. This latter capability is important as the dynamics within Vietnam are constantly changing and affecting different sectors and borrowers.

"Whilst in Vietnam talking with banks, we're consistently impressed with the calibre and intellect of the people in Risk Management. Once this raw talent gains more exposure to world best practice we believe the banking sector's capabilities will grow substantially" said Kim Goodall, Chairman of Admerex.

"In forging partnership with reputable service providers in the world, we hope to contribute to the sound development of Vietnamese banking system" said Le Mai Lan, managing director of BTC.
