ACB to hike chartered capital to over 6 trillion dong

Mar 27, 2008 - 7:00:00 AM Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB) on March 24 announced that it organised shareholders' meeting with the presence of 221,235,164 shareholders, accounting for 84.12% of chartered capital. The shareholders' meeting passed the business plan this year with total asset could be 145 trillion dong, up 69.8% against 2007, total deposits 94.5 trillion dong, an increase of 70.9% over 2007, total outstanding loan 59 trillion dong and 2.5 trillion dong from pre tax profit.

The shareholders' meeting also passed the plan of increasing chartered capital to 6.355 trillion dong from the current of 2.63 trillion dong via three capital sources including 1.471 trillion dong from chartered capital supplement reserve fund, 550 billion dong from conversable bonds and 1.704 trillion dong from surplus capital.
