DATC buys 4tr dong in debts from 50 enterprises

May 10, 2008 - 7:00:00 AM The finance ministry's Debt Asset Trading Corp (DATC) by the end of March 2008 bought four trillion dong in debts from 50 enterprises, reported the company chair Pham Phan Quang.

According to DATC's statistics, since staring its operation in 2004 to March 31, 2008, the company received debts and asset from 2,162 enterprises and took back 276 billion dong for the state budget.

From 2004-2007, DATC carried out buying debts and asset under the government's instruction with total value of 335 billion dong and took back a surplus of nearly 90 billion dong to state budget.

Last year, the company basically finished restructuring for four debtors.
