Thai Eximbank eyes Vietnam prospects

Thailand-based Export Import Bank (Eximbank) yesterday May 13 in conjunction with Vietnamese Embassy to Thailand co-held a talk on investment cooperation opportunities to Vietnam with the participation of a mass of representatives from Thailand-based big firms.

Vietnamese ambassador to Thailand, Nguyen Duy Hung, emphasised the meaning of the close and friendly cooperation relation between the two countries. At present, Thailand is in top ten biggest direct investors in Vietnam with the total pledged investment capital of over US$6 billion.

The ambassador also showed Vietnam's potentials and called Thailand-based firms to boost investing in Vietnam.

Thailand-based Eximbank is the biggest bank and has an important impact to Thailand-based firms, especially enterprises investing abroad countries including Vietnam.

At the talk, Thailand-based firms expressed their deep interest to Vietnam's development prospects and opportunities.
