PetroVietnam Finance increases deposit rates

From July 21 to August 31, PetroVietnam Finance Co (PVFC) would carry out the deposit programme from individuals with "absolute safety-attractive interest rate-flexible principal withdrawal".

Under it, depositors can withdraw their principal before due and get mandated capital interest rate of 12 months as for real mature deposits. In particular, customers when withdrawing the principal before due will enjoy the deposit rates of 4% per year, one-month term at 17.45%, two months 17.48%, from 3-12 months 17.5% and from 18-60 months at 14.55%.

The deposit rates as for US dollar will be 6.6% for 12-month term and from 18-60 months at 6.2% per annum. The discount interest rate before due as for US dollar less than one-month term deposits is 1.5% per annum, from 1-2 months at 5% per annum, 2-3 months 5.2%, 3-6 months 5.5%, 6-9 months 6.3% and from 9-12 months at 6.3% per annum.
