AIG Vietnam, Jetstar provide online tourism insurance services

AIG Vietnam Non-Life Insurance Co-a member of American International Group (AIG), recently signed a cooperation agreement with Vietnam Jetstar Pacific, Vietnam's low-cost airline, to co-provide online tourism insurance service with the name JetCover.
JetCover with a fee of US$2.5 for one-way domestic flights and US$9 for two-way international flights will cater to Jetstart's customers in flights departing from Vietnam only.
With this product, customers will have 12 benefits including medical costs for accidents and sickness, flight delay, flight cancel and lost luggage.
AIG Vietnam will provide its customers emergency support services, 24/7, via AIG Travel Assist-AIG Group's Urgent Support Centre.
AIG is the leading tourism insurance provider in Vietnam. This is the first time, AIG has cooperated with Vietnam's aviation firm to carry out a service allowing customers to buy insurance as soon as they book.
Earlier, those who wanted to buy insurance would have to go to AIG's offices or contact plane ticket agents.
