Three more banks succeed in linking to Smartlink family

Smartlink Card Service Joint Stock Co on March 5 announced finishing the linking and putting into operation ATM system with three new bank members namely Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB), Bao Viet Commercial Joint Stock Bank (BaoVietBank) and Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank-STB).
Accordingly, nearly one million card owners of three banks can use their cards at system of Smartlink member banks with 4,500 ATM and 20,200 POS.

Allowed transactions at this system include cash withdrawal, balance check, internal transfer and account check. At the same time, nearly eight million card owners of Smarklink member banks will have more over 1,000 ATM and 5,000 POS of these new members.
Thus, at present, Smartlink system has 24 banks completing the linking amongst total of 27 member banks.

Smartlink members also committed to continue to have closer cooperation to develop international standard value added services such as money payment for mobile phone charge, payment services for goods, ATM services and other electronic transaction channels like Internet, SMS Banking and Mobile Banking.
