Eximbank's gold deposit rates common at 0.5pct pa

At Eximbank, up to 14 gold deposit terms from three to 60 months carry an interest rate of 0.5 percent pa. Particularly the terms of 1-2 months, the gold deposit rate will be lower, 0.2 and 0.35 percent/year correspondingly.

When withdrawing gold prematurely, customers must finish entire the balance of gold accounts without interest.

Lately the bank announced it officially joined GlobePass card alliance whereby Cardholders of GlobePass member banks can enjoy discounts and other benefits offered by GlobePass retail merchants in foreign countries.

GlobePass is an alliance network of 12 financial institutions in Japan, South Korea, mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam working together to provide cross-border services to credit-card holders.
