SCB offers preferences for depositors

Saigon Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SCB) has preferential programme for customers who sell gold and deposit money at the bank. The programme will last from March 15 to April 29, 2010, with the purpose of supporting customers in the context when the interest rates for deposits in gold tend to climb down recently.

In details, for customers who have demand for selling gold at the bank and deposit money with the savings terms of over one month, the bank will buy customers' gold at price that is higher than the listed price that SCB applies at the transaction time.

Accordingly, as for the customers who sell the gold that they are currently depositing in the bank to change into savings in dong, SCB will purchase the gold at price that is 0.1 percent higher than the bank's listed price. In case the customers sell their own gold to SCB, then deposit their money at the bank, SCB will purchase the gold at price of 0.05 percent higher than the listed price.

In addition, all the customers will receive the coupon cards offered from the bank at the same time.
