AIA Vietnam increases chartered capital to 1.035tr dong

AIA Vietnam Co officially announced on March 18 that the company has finished increasing chartered capital to 1.035 trillion dong. It is the fifth time that AIA Vietnam has raised capital since its establishment in 2000.

Jamie Rains, AIA Vietnam's Chief Executive Officer said the purpose of the company's chartered capital increase is to realise AIA Vietnam's business commitments, helping the company improve its competition capacity to provide better services for customers.

Previously, the company has held the lucky drawings for customers participating in the programme of "10 nam – tron niem tin". This is the special programme for those registering for using life insurance products of "An phuc tron doi" within the period of December 1, 2009 to February 28, 2010 with premium of 5 million dong for the first year. There were 319 lucky-drawing prizes valued at 288 million dong.
