ODA disbursement targeted at over US$2b in 2008

Jul 26, 2008 - 7:00:00 AM ODA disbursement is targeted to reach more than US$2 billion in 2008, in which the growth of ODA disbursement for power sector, traffic, rural and agricultural development projects will be high, forecasted Ministry of Planning and Investment.

Up to the end of June, the disbursed ODA totalled at US$1.1 billion among the total signed capital amount of nearly US$1.3 billion.

ODA projects mainly focus on Red River Delta with over 22% of total figure, followed by the southeastern region (21%), the north central region (16%) and Mekong Delta over 13%.
