Central Steering Committee on implementation of PIT established

The prime minister recently approved establishment of Central Steering Committee on implementation of the Personal Income Tax (PIT).
Under it, the committee has functions of building programmes and concrete solutions for implementation of PIT, guiding and supervising and speeding up ministries and departments in carrying out programmes.
The deputy prime minister Nguyen Sinh Hung was appointed to be the chief of the committee and the minister of finance Vu Van Ninh to be vice chair of the committee.
PIT was passed by National Assembly and will take effect from January 1, 2009.
