Blue ear pig disease recurs in seven more provinces

Blue ear pig disease, avian flu and foot and mouth disease in cattle have recurred in many localities, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development's Animal Health Department said Tuesday.
Blue ear pig disease has reappeared in seven provinces within the last two weeks, raising the current number of afflicted provinces to 13.
Nghi Loc District in the central Nghe An Province reported the death of 190 chickens and ducks due to the avian flu and the northern Cao Bang Province recently discovered three cows infected with foot and mouth disease.
