Chunghwa Telecom, Viettel discuss on establishment of joint venture

Taipei based Chunghwa Telecom reported it is negotiating with local telecom provider Viettel about the expected establishment of a joint venture in fields of internet Data Centre in Vietnam.
As estimated, the joint venture will come into operation by the third quarter of 2008 with the initial capital of US$30 million, of which Viettel contributes 70% and Chunghwa Telecom 30%.
