Asean telecom ministers' conference to be held

Asean telecom ministers' conference titled "High Speed Connection to Narrow Digital Gap in Asean" will take place between August 25 and 30 in Bali, Indonesia.

The conference will discuss Asean cooperation relating to ICT as a part of the plan to build Asean Economic Community (AEC) and Asean Social and Cultural Community (ASCC), and the ICT fund usage of Asean members. In addition, the conference will also pass Bali minister announcement on wide band connection.

The Vietnamese delegation joining the conference will be led by Le Nam Thang, permanent vice minister of information and communication.
