Motorola to widen VinaPhone's network

Motorola has announced a US$28 million contract with the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) to expand VinaPhone's mobile network in the southern provinces of Vietnam.
This is the third contract in the past year signed by Motorola and VNPT to expand VinaPhone's network.
Motorola will provide network equipment, services and software products for VinaPhone.
The new network will allow data transmission and high-quality voice services to reach some rural areas which have never had access to mobile services.
