Three largest mobile network providers still lead the market

The domestic market research company of TNS in its latest survey conducted in late 2009 revealed that in large cities of Hanoi, Da Nang, and HCM City, the large mobile network provider of MobiFone stayed still in the first place among the seven telecommunication firms in Vietnam.

In details, MobiFone gained 100 percent for criteria of trademark recognition, followed by Viettel and VinaPhone with ratio of 99 percent, S-Fone of 84 percent and Beeline of 76 percent.
Vietnamobile and EVN Telecom were ranked at the end with ratio of 63 percent and 59 percent respectively.

As for criteria of attractiveness, MobiFone was ranked the first place at ratio of 54 percent, much higher than Viettel at second place of 29 percent and VinaPhone at third place of 14 percent.
MobiFone also led the markets in criteria of customers' demands for using with ratio of 56 percent, followed by Viettel with 44 percent and VinaPhone with 25 percent only.

Noticeably, after six months of entering the market, the newcomer of Beeline reported to gain significant success with 76 percent of trademark recognition.
