Viettel joins laptop market

Military-run Telecommunication Group (Viettel) has recently said that it will sign a cooperation agreement with Dell Vietnam and Intel Vietnam to officially become a distributor for Dell laptop in Viettel’s retail system.

In the short-term, Viettel will sell these products in 19 key supermarkets and plan to expand to 110 supermarkets and over 600 shops nationwide of Viettel.

Of which, the latest products, including both popular products such as Inspiron and Vostro, high-class fashion products like Studio, Studio XPS, Adamo or Alienware, will be displayed at kiosk of Dell in Viettel’s supermarkets

In addition, Viettel will also distribute products of other well-known trade names such as HP, Acer, Toshiba or Lenovo.
According to Nguyen Chi Thanh, general director of Viettel’s retail system, the laptop retailing market is very potential with a growth of up to 30% yearly.
