A new website on Thang Long-Hanoi was officially introduced to public on March 18, 2010 at http://hanoi.vietnamplus.vn with the purposes of providing information about Hanoi and events to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.

This is the cooperative project between Hanoi People's Committee and Vietnam News Agency (VNA). It's the first website on the capital city published in four languages of English, French, Spanish and Vietnamese.

The website is designed and managed by Vietnam Plus, VNA's electronic newspaper. Apart from information about Hanoi and activities to mark the 1000th celebration of Thang Long-Hanoi, the website gives details about the capital city relating to its history, geography, administration, culture, artisans, craft villages and gastronomy.

It also provides useful information about the city's entertainment spots, tourist sites, hotels and entrepreneurs for tourists and other companies that seek business opportunities in Hanoi.

Up to now, there are about 900 entries in Vietnamese language and hundreds of entries in other languages to be posted on the website.
