7tr dong invested in My Ly hydropower plant

The prime minister recently approved the project worth seven trillion dong to build My Ly hydropower plant in Ca River in Ky Son District in the central province of Nghe An with an estimated capacity of 280 MW and a yearly output of 1.1 billion kWh

The project's investors include Duc Long Gia Lai Group, Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (Bidv), Ban Ve Hydropower Joint Stock Co and Power Construction Consultancy Joint Stock Co No 1. Of which, Duc Long Gia Lai Group is the controller.

The project is expected to finish and start operation by the end of 2011.
