27-SEP-2008 Intellasia | Lao Dong
Sep 27, 2008 - 7:00:00 AM
Minister of Traffic and Transport, Ho Nghia Dung yesterday ordered to start the construction on upgrading Mong Duong-Mong Cai route (Quang Ninh Province) of the 18A National Road.

The line is 124 kilometres long, passing five districts and townships namely Cam Pha, Tien Yen, Dam Ha, Hai Ha and Mong Cai with total initial estimation of 1.3 trillion dong sourced from G-bond capital.

Do Thong, vice chair of Quang Ninh provincial People's Committee said the province would advance 100 billion dong by the local budget in this year and willingly provide another 200 billion dong in 2009.

Three units winning the tender to carry out the construction include CIENCO 1, CIENCO 5 (under the traffic and transport ministry) and a joint stock company. Six following bidding packages will be implemented in the end of 2008.
