Deputy prime minister Hoang Trung Hai has assigned Ministry of Industry and Trade to approve the location of new thermo power plants, a 600 MW plant in Bac Giang province's Yen Dung Dist and a 1,200 MW one in Long An southern province.
Particularly, Long An coal fed thermo power plant is designed to have two 600 MW turbines, covering 218 hectares in Long Hoi Village, Long Huu Tay commune of Can Duoc Dist.
