Over 3.236tr dong to upgrade National Highway No 24

Ministry of transport and Kon Tum province people's committee held the groundbreaking ceremony for project of upgrading and expanding National Highway No 24 that connects two provinces of Quang Ngai and Kon Tum, from km8 – km165 in Kon Plong Town, Kon Plong Dist, Kon Tum province on March 12.

The project's starting point was in Duc Pho Dist, Quang Ngai province and the ending point in Kon Tum City, Kon Tum province. There are 12 bidding packages in this project, including 10 road construction packages and two bridge ones. The total investment capital for upgrading and expanding National Highway No 24 project was estimated at over 3.236 trillion dong.

The National Road Administration was the main investor of the project, while the Project Management Board 85 under Vietnamese ministry of transport would take responsibility for managing the project and Kon Tum province-based Tien Dung Investment, Construction and Trading Co Ltd was the main contractor.
