Czech Republic eyes on Ninh Binh-Thanh Hoa Expressway project

Ambassador of Czech Republic in Vietnam has asked leaders of Ministry of Transportation to create favourable conditions for Czech’s groups, led by PSJ Co to participate in investment projects of constructing Ninh Binh— Thanh Hoa Expressway under the methods of PPP or BOT.

The Ninh Binh— Thanh Hoa Expressway has total length of 121 kilometres, including eight lanes. The project has total investment capital of about US$1.445 billion.

Ministry of Transport has lately assigned Vietnam Cement Industry Corp as the main investor. As planned, the project was supposed to be started in 2011.

Czech Republic has recently funded US$420 million for Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Financial Investment Corp (Vidifi) in construction project of Hanoi-Hai Phong Expressway.
