4.6tr dong for construction of Co Chien Bridge

The prime minister has approved construction of Co Chien Bridge in National Highway No 60 that links Ben Tre and Tra Vinh with total 4.6 trillion dong of investment, said Nguyen Thanh Nam, general director of project management team No 7, Ministry of Transport.

This includes about three trillion dong of budgetary fund and 1.6 trillion of BOT. The work is to be completed in the period of 2010 to 2013.

Under its design, the project will include Co Chien bridge and Tan Dien one with total length of 15.76 kilometres and four lanes, linking between Mo Cay Nam (Ben Tre province) and Phu Long (Cang Long, Tra Vinh province).
