Deadline to grant license and tax registration is five days

Aug 2, 2008 - 7:00:00 AM Joint Circular No5guiding the scheme to deal with registration of business, tax and seal of companies that are established under Law on Business has been issued.

Under the circular, the maximum deadline for local planning and investment departments to grant business license and tax registration to branch and transaction office is five working days from receiving enough lawful applications.

As for the applications sent via internet, businesses will have to submit business registration papers to the authorities after receiving the approval. If obtaining business licenses, businesses will have responsibility to purchase or print financial receipts under current laws.

As for seal registration, the local police agency has responsibility to check up and return seal and certificate of seal registration to businesses within two days from receiving seals from makers.
