City raid nets illegal oriental medicine
02-OCT-2008 Intellasia | Thanhniennews

A large volume of China-made oriental medicine without invoices, labels and product quality registration was discovered and confiscated Monday from a shop in HCM City's Binh Thanh District.

The city's Market Management Bureau said that the raid had been carried out at 320 Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Street.

The bureau has filed a report on the illegal medicine that was contained in 37 boxes.

The owner of the shop admitted that the medicine had been purchased from District 5 and repacked for selling without product quality registration, the report said.
