Finance Ministry has issued Decision No 106/2008/QD-BTC dated November 17, 2008 ruling on the franchising registration fee.
Foreign business people who are into franchising in Vietnam will have to pay a registration fee of 16.5 million dong for a new license, six million dong for a supplemented license, and five million dong for a re-granted license.
Vietnamese business people joining the franchising overseas, the registration fee is four million dong for a new license, and 500,000 dong for a supplemented or re-granted license.
For domestic franchising the fee is four million dong for a new license, and 500,000 dong for a supplemented or re-granted license.
