Thailand's state news agency says the country's foreign minister has resigned, but government officials are refusing to confirm the report.
The agency says the minister sent his resignation to the prime minister, who has not yet approved it.
Foreign ministry officials told The Associated Press they could not confirm the news, which was carried by other Thai media outlets.
The Thai News Agency's report says the foreign minister is resigning to take care of his sick wife.
Thailand's government has been under pressure from protesters who have occupied the grounds housing the prime minister's offices in the capital Bangkok.
