UK Bronzeoak to build bio-ethanol plant

Quang Ngai province's Dung Quat Economic Zone's management board reported approving Petrosetco and the UK Bronzeoak Co to build the bio-ethanol factory on an area of 50 hectares with a total cost of 2.2 trillion dong in the zone.
The factory has a designed capacity of 150 million litres of ethanol a year.

In related news, Can Tho oil refinery with a total estimated capital of US$369 million and the capacity of two million tonnes of crude oil a year under the cooperation of HCM City's Far East Investment and Trading JSC and China National Overseas Engineering Corp will be built on a site of 300 hectares in Can Tho City's Hung Phu II Industrial Zone. The project is expected to be put into operation by 2013.
